Awareness and Education Campaign 2025
Every man who tests early because of our campaign, and who is then diagnosed with prostate cancer and successfully treated, is a life saved.
One of NPA’s key charitable purposes is promoting awareness, regular testing, and early diagnosis of prostate cancer.
Prostate cancer is Australia’s most diagnosed cancer, with 29,000 new cases and 4,000 deaths annually. Early stages show no symptoms, making regular testing, just a simple blood test, vital to saving lives.
Too many men still don’t test soon enough.
Recognising the urgency, NPA has deferred the 2025 Prostate Cancer Awareness Lunch to focus on a broad awareness and education campaign. Advertisements were created and donated by Anthony Napier-Mann (antcreative@outlook.com) and Michael Owen (michaelowen@mto@gmail.com).
Samples are available here for anyone to use across websites, social media, or other platforms.
oOh!media, led by CEO Cathy O’Connor, has generously donated digital signage across Noosa Civic, Caloundra Shopping Centre, Stockland Birtinya, and Sunshine Plaza from September through year-end. Their support exemplifies business and community partnership; these ads will save men’s lives.
The oOh!media campaign also attracted coverage in Mi3, B&T, Mumbrella, AdNews, Mediaweek, Radio Today with additional radio support from Hot 91.1 and Zinc 96.1.
A national Facebook/Meta campaign reached 14,879 people and generated 1,400 engagements.
LiveLife Pharmacy, through CEO Clint Coker, is running the ads on digital screens in its 40 Queensland locations.
ICON Noosa Site Manager Ben Archard is competing in the Noosa Triathlon to raise awareness and funds. You can support him via the this link on MyCause.
